  • Save money when this is possible.

According to Corley, successful individuals put away about 10 percent to 20 percent of their gross earnings in a savings, investment or retirement plan. Not everyone can afford to do so, but anyone have to think about saving a part of his or her earnings.

  • Don’t waste your money.

Some successful people are considered greedy. This may be others’ opinion about them because they are usually avoid overspending.

  • Spend time with people and learn something from everyone.
